I've always found it tough this time of the year. Water temps haven't started to drop, bait still suspended... Try here, it's a start... Dan

How is Cumberland this time of year I've only been a handful of times and was wondering about baits and presentations for a trip this weekend

Well what colors are good?
Try a spook or white buzzbait on channel walls.
+1 concentrate on channel walls especially around rock slide areas. I always try a light weight jig around a slide and fishing it all the way back to the boat. Some of my best SM have been caught this way, even in the middle of summer. Hopefully a few more weeks, and the fish will start moving shallower.
I have a tournament in 3 weeks so hopefully they might start going shallow
I thought you posted you were going THIS weekend.
I was supposed to go this weekend but we were rained out Saturday morning, I'm on my high school's fishing team so we were just trying to find some good places
Thanks!!
