    Lake Tetonka - Waterville, MN

First... thanks much for the MN thread and the welcome to Fishin, Peter.

A GREAT Spring and Fall Walleye lake... with nice Panfish, lotza Bass, and good sized Northern Pike. I have has a camper on the lake for 20 years.
Here are some Walleye photos and I will add where's and how to's on the other species as I go here.

    Lake Tetonka Walleye

6lb Walleye from in front of the inlet on Lake Tetonka aprox 10am in 18' of water... used a Bait Rigs Odd Ball 1/2oz jig and half a crawler, swimming it just above the bottom.

I run 1/2 of the night crawler up the hook shank... then hook the second half in the center. This lets the end piece do a wacky-wiggle making it appear to be a creyfish... thus, a CRAWLER-CRAYFISH. And, if the fish hits and takes the end half, there is a second half still on the jig ready for another try.

    Welcome Dave!

It is really nice to see photos of some nice Walleye. We had a good population of walleye disapear during a recent September down in my home state-KY. Minnesota is a great place to fish from what I have heard. Would like to get up that way sometime.

    See you around the Forum.

There are some good Northern Pike in the lake also... my best is 13lbs. They mostly associate with the weeds but in other periods of low or no weeds will follow schools of bait-fish.
This fish was taken by Leon from Le Center, Mn on Tetonka... nice Pike!
