Cumberland and Laural River in Early October

I'm taking my annual trip in the first week of October, will be on the water for 4 days and nights, one of my favorite times to fish is at night so when not pounding the banks I like to set out lights and relax and fish.I am a fairly recent transplant and have had some success fishing these lakes but have not night fished them. Any hints would be appreciated.Bait setups ect...
I use to fish high mountain lakes that held lots of crawdads and always put out the traps, there is not many things better than a boil of fresh cradads,is this something that is very successfull on either of these lakes.
Thanks ill post up either way

thanks I give him a call

About the fishing, I caught 6-7 stripers a day ( primarily morning snd evening) just chasing the jumps and throwing a bone color large Spook.Nothing to big just cookie cutter 24"-26" fish.During the days just relaxted and caught bass nothing to big 14" drop shoting MM2 6" worms.caught a couple what I assume where flat head cats .During a massive downpour I caught a hybrid on white fluke, I thought it was a real football shaped striper until I looked a little closer. All in all a good three days on the lake.
