How's the bass fishing down there right now? Thinking about making the trek down there on Saturday. Getting tired of fishing the same old bodies of water, need a change of scenery.

How's the bass fishing down there right now? Thinking about making the trek down there on Saturday. Getting tired of fishing the same old bodies of water, need a change of scenery.

I went down there Sunday and managed to catch 8 decent one's and a couple of dinks. No keepers though. Water on the main lake is turning over prettty hard. It was real dark brown/black and had a funky orange tint to it in some places. Not sure if it will be done turning by this weekend. Cranks and finese baits were what I caught fish on.
