    Ohio River Spring time

    ok, just finding out about the kind of fish i can catch in the Ohio River in the fall, but what can i expect to find next spring/ summer? Patterns ? Places to look for ? Where do these nice smallmouths and spots go? Lets hear some local knowledge guys... thanks

    I killed them this spring!!! almost every time out 20+ bass the key is just a little current the bass will pull right up on rocky banks.

    In the spring you can count on sauger, striper, hybrid striped bass, cat fish, carp, perch, and unfortunately Asian carp. Most of the time you can find a good spot an catch them all. Those are just the big species, you can catch more than that. Bass and bluegill will be there too. Its the best time to fish for your wide variety of fish. All can be caught as simple as a jig and grub.
