ohio river spring time

ok, just finding out about the kind of fish i can catch in the Ohio River in the fall, but what can i expect to find next spring/ summer? Patterns ? where do these nice smallies and spots go? com' on guys lets hear some local knowledge ! thanks

My experience is that the fish still hold to the breaks in current, wood, and eddies. You may want to try the islands by Owensboro also. There are usually some big spots that spawn in this area and makes for some nice fishing or quality bags if in tournament.
