Needing some info on this lake, Is it shallow with buoys or channel markers? Is there visible cover such as bushes or laydowns or rock? Is it a clear lake? Are there lots of places to stay with food close by? When is the best time to fish it in the spring? Thanks in advance.
Jackhammer,
Typical lake for Tenn River, similar to Ky Lake. Yes there are channel markers to follow when lake is at winter pool and early spring fishing, until mid April. It is a dam controlled lake like most lakes in mid south. It has rocky banks, laydowns, some standing timber but under water. Shallow flats and brushpiles and Places to stay: Island Cove marina, Bluewater RV Resort and Marina. Not much for accommodations on the lake, but these 2 are pretty nice. Fishing is good from early March until Mid May.
Very good Bass, crappie and bluegill lake. A good forum to look in to is Chattanooga Fishing Forum.
