Heading to Nolin the last week of March. Never been on the lake before. Can anyone hook me up with some ideas on what I should be doing or what the go to pattern might be that time of year? I appreciate any and all help

Just the ole green trout!
It's hard to say. Nolin is still frozen over for the most part but should be good to go by later this week. The water is still gonna be down so most of the fishing will be straight up and down the bluff walls on the main lake. Typical winter patterns should be as good as any...Jigs, jerkbait, maybe a rattle bait. Just FYI Nolin is pretty tough during the winter. Good luck!
Anyone been by or on Nolin today? Wanna go Sat. but im not gonna drive from Oldham county for nothing.
The lake looked very good yesterday.
Moutardier will definitely be launchable. I launched at Wax today. Ran down almost to long fall creek. water was muddy. water temp around 48. might be a little more clear and colder at moutardier. Didn't fish. just checking the boat out.
fished Friday could not reel them all in water temp 55
Thanks for the input. I'll post back later.
Did you find 55 deg water on the upper end of the lake. That seems warm with the cold weather we had.
