My buddy got this 14.4lb hybrid striper yesterday from the Ohio River using a 2 inch Flitterbait. Spring is on it's way!

We've learned a new pattern for winter fishing on the river. When the main river gets up, the hybrids(and most other species) will move to the mouths of tribs and even go up them for a ways, to get out of the main river. It's hit or miss though because they seem to always be on the move. One day they are there, the next, gone. The water coming out of the tribs clears up before the main river, so water clarity isn't an issue.
