Never mind. Buddy of mine hit it for a couple of days and wore out the stripers. That's all I need to know.

I haven't seen many Lake Cumberland reports lately. Just curious if the stripers have started biting good yet. Whats the water temps like now? I might take a short trip down if things are starting to change for the better.

Hey Scott sent you a pm
Sent you one back.............pm is acting really weird for me today??
I was curious about this too as we're heading down this weekend. If anyone has any reports, I'd love to hear! We will be fishing out of Jamestown. Thanks!
Fished it last Saturday water in the upper 40's did find some 55 degree water in the very backs of the creeks, bite was slow finally was able to catch a few but had to switch to minnows to do it. Water color is good at Jamestown stained back in wolf creek. we were out for about 8 hrs and only caught 7.
Fished 4 hrs today, back ok of Beaver, had to take a number to get a bank. Caught 5, 1 striper, 2 LM, one SM and 1 KY, all on jerk bait except 1LM on a crankbait, all good fish. Water temp 50-52 nice milky green color. Gonna be at it for next 3 days, any other reports appreciated.
I'd like to hear any specifics on what the stripers are doing, too. is live bait the ticket in the backs of the creeks? i'd like to try it tomorrow if the bite is decent. Thanks!
Guys I know are doing really good dragging bait back in the creeks, I've caught two each of the last two days on jerk baits bass fishing, including a 32" fish today. LM bite really good today, no monsters but plenty of numbers.
Tried my luck briefly Saturday afternoon in Indian. No stripers on the line or on the fish finder. The place was deserted. On a bright note, water was really nice looking - clear and light greenish in most areas. Also had 3 bald eagles follow me around while I fished. Trying to be positive....
Might try again this weekend. Will be trying a different creek.
