Is anyone catching any shellcrackers yet?

I figured they were turning on pretty good, or at least until the cold front yesterday and today. I'm heading down to Barkley and Ky Lake pretty soon, just wondering if folks aren't nailing a few hog crackers yet.

Im tearing them up in private ponds and housing subdivisions in scott county then a monster gills but i dunnow about barkley or ky

Quite early yet for the twins IMO. Probably in a couple weeks with some warm weather should do it.

Just got back from fishing for crappie on Jonathan creek at Ky lake. Limited out every day on crappie. Started to catch cat fish and a few blue gill along with our crappie so I'd say it wont be long. Don't know what this weather coming in next week gonna do to them. We were using jigs trolling over about 6-7 foot of water. Let us know if you head down there and get on them. Good luck.
