Try goin on kdfwr and look at there FIN program. They stock alot of louisville neighborhoods that probably wont care if you fish em. I know they stock bluegill and cats but i dont know about bass. Youd have to check

Does anyone know where any good bass fishing ponds/lake to go to in the louisville area?
I normally fish waverly park but there us not many bass.

Those lakes are a disgrace. Basically a free pay lake funded by outdoorsmen and the bass fishing industry.
Yea good point. They do hold some good bluegill tho. Have you ever fished floyds fork? You might also try to askca property owner that has ponds. Thats how ive gotten into several great spots.

I've had good luck at this VPA spot(Voluntary Public Access) on the Little Kentucky River,

Especially good springtime.Really good around Derby time(Largemouth Bass spawn?).
Like any stream fishing,the water flow has to be right.If it's too muddy or way too low,you can get skunked.
On good days,I've caught largemouth,smallmouth and warmouth(Rock bass).
VPA program is where landowners get paid a little to allow the public to fish on their land.
About 40 minutes from Louisville.
