looking to go down to one of them at the end of the month with my Dad. Fishing for bass and maybe a few crappie if they can be found. Have a boat. What's everyone's lake of choice at this time. Thanks for any feed back.

The previous angler is correct, you can't go wrong with either lake; but if were my, I'd go to Barkley. It's probably more of a personal preference.
Personal preference in the spring would be barkley. This is mainly because the water is usually more stained and my style of fishing seems to work better on this lake. I enjoy shallow cranks, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and plastics tossed into shoreline cover. This has produced well for bass at Barkley for me in the past.
Most folks I know would say ky because post spawn and ledges should start be then!
