    Ohio River Crappie

I have been hearing that they were biting in the backs of creeks in along the Ohio in NKY. Went bass fishing last night and caught two on accident. One black was almost 15in's and probably a pound and a half if I had to guess. I have never seen a crappie that big! but then again I haven't caught that many. Oh and by the way if your thinking of bass fishing around Augusta bring a long stick or shotgun... I saw more beavers than mosquitos last night!

I use to crappie fish at times and I know a lot of fisherman that do. from early march on depending on the rivers condition you can really get in to um. its just hit or miss!
