Baileys Point is a really nice camp ground and really close to the dam from the water. We stayed there a couple weeks ago right on the water and we didn't have any problems with bugs or anything. Sites are kinda small so you'll need to leave your boat in the overflow lot if you have more than one vehicle. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING OUT. My buddy that was down there with us had his brand new fishing seats stolen out of the bed of his truck. Which is surprising because it's right in the middle of the camp ground.

Most people stay in Glasgow when the state park is booked. There is a days inn and another hotel that sit right next to each other. They are both nice. I also know several that stay at the bed and breakfast by the narrows. I have stayed at both hotels in Glasgow several times and they are good and have plug ins for your boat.
