A question for the KY/Barkley ledge gurus out there, including Captain Dave. What's the best outflow rate at the dam that seems to produce the best bite? I understand when they've moved out to the ledges that too much outflow or too little outflow can be tricky, but what are the opinions on outflow CFM that produces the best bite?
Here is the link.

Actually the outflow is measured in CFS not CFM by TVA. I like around 60,000 - 70,000 cfs on Ky and 18,000 - 20,000 on Barkley....but I never count on current....if it happens then great but you have to learn to fish current and no current on the ledges...each ledge can be different depending on current flow and how it sets up the fish on them....sometimes you can get an idea of when to be on a particular ledge at the right time by watching the past few days hourly flow history on the TVA site, but there are no guarantees.
