Heading to green river this Wednesday through Sunday, looking to do a little cat fishing and crappie fishing, anyone know of some good locations or tactics around the state park area, tempted to just take the kayak so as close to the state park area would be ideal.
Thanks

For the catfish I'd suggest a setting a few jugs with the yak. Channel cats should be spawning around now so I'd stick close to points and rocky areas with deeper water close by. There are plenty of those areas close to the state park. The same points are good for cut bait fishing with rod and reel too. Early mornings are best.
