Fall 2014 - 2015 Anglers For Conservation Orlando Schedule

Message from the Orlando Chapter of Anglers for Conservation As the president of the Orlando Chapter of Anglers for Conservation, I'm both excited and proud to announce our eventful schedule for the fall 2014 and spring of 2015. Over the years in Central Florida we have developed strong community support and a very loyal core of volunteers, and together we are taking the mission of the AFC to new and exciting levels. Together is 2014, we conducted six Hook Kids on Fishing Programs in Central Florida with over 700 kids and their parents attending, and each child walked away with a new fishing rod and reel thanks to the support of the Fish Florida Foundation. We refer to our supporters as the Orlando area fishing family which includes numerous facets of the fishing and outdoor community who share the same values and concerns we do and strongly support our mission. The Orlando fishing family includes industry partners like: Fishing Florida Radio, Coastal Angler Magazine Orlando, Mosquito Creek Outdoors, Fish on Fire Restaurant, Mud Hole Custom Tackle, American Tackle, TTI Blackmore, DOA Lures and the cities of Apopka and Casselberry. Fishing clubs like the Orlando Kayak Fishing Club, Central Florida Offshore Anglers. Club and association like the UCF Reel Knights and Backcountry Fly-fishing Association. Together we are making a difference in Orlando by spreading the word about becoming responsible anglers and the importance of conservation of our critical resources. It amazing how many people share our passion, desire and the goals of the AFC in promoting the use, not the abuse of our critical resources.
