Im heading there next weekend and have never seen the lake, how does it fish? From looking at a map it looks like a river type of lake like Nolin. Is there any offshore fishing, or does it fish like a river/creek?

Theres some offshore fishing. If you head towards the dam there are some bluff walls that are decent. I generally have only been around the axtel campground and Dam area. Main lake points are probably your best bet this time of year with the fall transition going on.

I fish there often. I usually put in at Laurel Branch. I fish the back creek banks with crankbaits, plastic worms, and pumpkin jigs with craw trailer and usually have successful fishing trips.
