May spend a few days at Barren this Fall. Never been there and I appreciate any info as I will be fishing for the Hybrids.
Thank You.

Thanks For Any Help In Advance.
I'd be very interested in any info on Hybrids in Barren River also.
Shouldn't be a big deal on such a small lake. I've been bustin the Stripers at Cumberland for the past 20 years there probably isn't much difference, maybe the size of jigs and spoons but that's always a learning experience. I do have downriggers which I may not need at Barren.
Ok I haven't fished barren in awhile but when I was fishing it I was going for hybrids. Look for flats next to deep drop offs. I had more success ripping a spoon up than anything else. Evening bite has always been more successful for me. Like most times find the bait fish and you'll find the big fish. I had more luck closer towards the dam. Sorry I can't be much help. Like I said before I haven't been up there in awhile.
I appreciate your input. I did see some youtube guys using small to medium spoons and Reflecto spoons.Ok I haven't fished barren in awhile but when I was fishing it I was going for hybrids. Never have actually fished for hybrids, but have gotten into them late in the fall bass fishing. Usually find em schooled up with yhe largemouth with bait pushed up on flats on a rat-l-trap
