Motor HP changes on smaller lakes

Have KDWF dept changed the no HP limit on smaller lakes like Boltz, Elmer davis, Bullock Pen, etc?

these lakes currently have a 10hp motor limit. The new law we would be able to run your bigger motor, but no wake allowed. Is the new law in effect?

I just spoke to the owner of the baitshop at Bullock Pen. The biologists were there yesterday to do their fall shocking study on bass. They told her that the law still has to clear some committee or something to that effect and that the law will not go into effect until some time next year.
