Rough river

I know this may seem stupid to some but i have never really fished Rough River but once and when i did i was Crappie Fishing. My question is, Is there any catfish in Rough or have they never been stocked. Everything seems to be there for them to thrive but there are bodies of water which dont hold certain fish. I know that Rough was all man made flooded farm land way back when so i was wondering if i would waist my time going to look for them there.

it's got a good number of channel cat, as well as some catchable nice size flatheads

I would have never thought ROUGH to hold good catfishing but i guess with all the panfish and the **** its does. Im torn on going there or to Stephensport on Sunday. I love Stephensport but i would like to try ROUGH i just hate driving a 1 1/2 hrs to catch nothing.

We've caught a 32lb flathead out of there and multiple 20+ fish on jugs at rough. Never tried with a rod and reel though.

im going to stick alot of my focus in shallower waters that have lots of trees and stumps.. Thanks for your advice gives me hope

Caught two on a shakey head last week practicing for the usa bassin tourny. Both were 4-6lb channels and on main lake points
