    Hotel/Motel near Nolin

Have a club tourney on Nolin Nov 8th and 9th. Is there a good motel/hotel somewhere nearby?

    Thanks for any help.

Not really... The KBN ran into that problem this year. However, the Hatfield Inn in Leitchfield is back open after being remodeling from water damage. The Hatfield Inn is very nice and I highly recommend it. Only problem is that it is in Leitchfield.... There is another hotel in Leitchfield by the Hatfield Inn, but I would not stay there. Police are called there quite often for drug and violence issues.

The wax motel is right next to the wax marina and boat ramp. It is pretty decent with good food and close if that's the ramp you are using

Wax motel is closed unless it's recently reopened and I didn't know. Leitchfield is your best bet. About 15 20 minutes give or take from the lake.

Thanks for the information. I think Wax is still closed. So it looks like Hatfield it is.

    Thanks again.

    Nolin Accomodations

    FYI
Nolin River Getaway has a fishing cabin next to the State Park as well as a 3 to 4 bedroom house on the lake. Maybe an option for your club. Hickory Cabins are nearby. Cottages at Brier Creek are also near. Links are at www.fish-nolin.com.

hey, thanks for the tips on cabins etc. That might work as we are not a large group. Plus, I may come down next spring and stay in one of them for a few days.

Man.... You aren't kidding mhall I loved those bacon cheeseburgers they had. I always liked going up there after I was done fishing to grab some food and a cold drink. Beat the hell out of a bologna sandwich from days pro lol

What a shame I loved that place. A great breakfast and jump in the boat. Is it closed for good or just for the season? We are coming down there the 7th to the 9th club classic. By the way how far has the draw down for winter pool gone? Can't wait to get there!!
