I was looking at fishing up river at Peter Cave and the next ramp that is off route 259. I would like to know if these two ramps are safe to leave your vehicle at. Thanks for any response.

I use the boat ramp at Peter cave all the time and have never had any issues. Actually you don't hear of many issues at the ramps on rough.
Never had a problem at the Peter Cave ramp however the ramp above on 259, I have had my tiedown's stole off my trailer while fishing only to get home and my wife inform me that the Corp and County Sheriff were also reporting a new boat trailer was stole there that day also and I thought my day went bad. May be a little safer now that the county has cleared the brush between the road way and parking lot, which allows it to be more visible from the road and passing motorist. The problem is the lot is not visible from hardly any home's in the area and there must be some white trash/ meth head that lives nearby and needs money. I would use Peter Cave and pay them a few dollars for the comfort, just a few minutes by water.
Well, someone stole a car and launched it down the Eveleigh ramp into the lake... So there is some trouble at the ramp
