I've finally added some tackle rails. I wish I would have done this a billion years ago.

George...looks great. If that wood sags to much change maybe over to Uni-strut? It will not sag from moisture or weight.

    nice

When I first moved to KY I bought my own amish shed just for fishing gear, and working on my stuff. Lights, electric heater, fans. Now I wonder, how did I manage to buy all that stuff. From gore tex rain gear to battery socks for ice fishing. I havn't wet a line this year. Sure I miss it. That last fall at a boat ramp told me it was time to hang it up. BUT maybe a new knee, and hip replacement, rotator cuff repair, I'd be good as new, and could start all over.

I'm in the same boat. I keep all my crappie baits in a tackle box in the boat or in a plastic lure box. All the cranks that I use on the water are stored inside plastic boxes with dividers. Like those in George's picture. I have a soft tackle box for all the cank bait and crappie bait boxes. I can hang some crank baits on different places on my boat. I don't switch crank baits as much as I do the amount of line out when trolling cranks for deep summer crappie To me the depth and speed is more important than the color. Maybe it's because I found the one color that the like and don't have to switch to a different colored crank bait. I fish the same time of day in the summer months and at 25 ft down the sunlight is filtered out by the water and the stuff dissolved in the water so at 25 ft everything is dark down there.
