My last traffic stop by Lexington Police......I described it before on here but I was merging onto new circle rd here in lex and as I was just about on new circle a lexington officer hit his lights and pulled me over. He claimed I wasn't wearing my seat belt (I was) but as soon as he noticed Maxx and his big old head looking at him he changed his focus onto maxx. I rolled the window down and he loved on Maxx and let me go. So have a beautiful blockheaded dog with you and hope the cop loves dogs!
Good post the only thing better would be if you had a badge to show the cop. My neighbor on my boat dock was a sheriff and he took about 15 Kentucky sheriffs on a houseboat cruise one of the topics of conversation was there are a lot of officers today that don't want to show any professional courtesy. They said we show our badge and they still want to issue a ticket. My sheriff friend was about 75 at the time and he sId when they come to your car he said I always say this is really embarrassing you know I'm a sheriff. He said it works for me.
