Cumberland River discharge

Going camping at Kendall below the dam next weekend trout fishing a few days and curious if anyone knows how long they will be keeping all the gates open. I check the TVAs site regularly so I'll know when the flow is low but not sure if all the recent heavy flow has been because they are maybe lowering the lake to winter pool? Haven't seen the lake in some time so just wondering.

They only have one sluice gate open and are only running two generators for now. You can fish at the steps below the fish cleaning station, where the trout stream runs into the river, and at Ray Mann road. I have been tossing 1/4 oz. jig heads tipped with nightcrawlers at the dam and catching trout while trying to catch walleyes.

Great...thanks for the advice. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't all gates being opened.
