Barren camping

Anyone know of any camping sites open nov 1st at barren? State park closes Friday and can't reach any other place. Would appreciate any fishing reports as well.

I remember a while back, that the campground at the spillway was open after "peak" camping season. I'd call the CORPS office and ask (270) 646-2055. Office hours: M-F, 6:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Central) (may vary, call ahead). From what I remember, this was a primitive deal, out houses, water and that's about it. I'm not sure about electricity. It's about as close as you can get to Port Oliver too.

Mammoth Cave and Maple Springs are 25 miles away and open until Nov 30.

Springhill Rv park has year round spots. Its within a mile of the state park. 270-646-3373. It has sewer hook-ups.It has no bath house. I leave my camper there year round.
