Couldn't wait for Dec Or January to throw the bobber down at Dale so picked it up last Sunday and again on Tuesday. Sunday started with 30 degrees and flurries, wind 15 -20 from the north. Water temp was 50 and clear. Made 5 or ten casts with jerkbait but leaves were everywhere on the water. Bobber goes out and could manage to keep the leaves off it and it was dropping. Two of us caught 52 with most of them smaller 12-15 inch fish. Did manage 2 over 20 and a 29 inch walleye. Temp never got above 39 the whole day. Tuesday totally different no wind and almost 70 degrees. Introduced a co worker to bobber fishin and we cranked out 45 with only one 18 and two mid twenty walleye. God I love catching them on the 9 footer. Used hair feather and plastic with most of the better fish on zoom tiny flukes. 7 foot leader over 8 to 15 foot of water. That should hold me till Dec. Who am I kidding I'm going everyday I can steal a couple hours.

Thanks
I have never fished there. Maybe one day I'll make it there.
What I'm even more surprised by is that th water temps there are already 50...................Dang Cumberland still has 64 degree water.
Yep - that's what I thought when I read that as well.
I think I'm taking my first bobber trip - mostly to shake off the rust and check the gear - in 2 weeks. I'll probably go to Cumberland.
