thinking about going this weekend. Did you have any luck?
Also interested. What's the water temp and clarity? Good enough for a jerk bait?
[QUOTE=Nolin Addict;540119]Man I was gonna go out but never had the chance. I couldn't get someone to tow the boat, and had to visit with famile from out of town. Yes the type you don't necessarily "enjoy" visiting with. Was gonna change my plans to Friday but found out I have some hunting to do. It's rabbit season. There's goes my saturday mornings on the water!
I know someone was put there yesterday. No one knows the current water temp at least?
put in today about 12:30 water was stained about 1ft visibility. temp was 49 degrees. wind was 10-20mph. fished main lake caught about a dozen fish 3 keepers in 8-10ft of water. Probably could have done better but wasn't able to fish points very well because of the wind. Only fished about 4 hours.
Thanks. I guess jerkbaits are out of the equation. Going in the morning and it looks like the wind will be even worse tomorrow.
Buddy and I went out today. On the water at 10:45 and left at 4:30. Water temp was 49 and the further up the lake you went the better the water clarity, if it was not wind blown bank. I was thinking about throwing a jerk bait in some spots with good water clarity, but Shad Raps were working good. We caught 21 bass with a 4.75 pounder. most of the bass were holding in about six to eight feet of water.
ON the main or in the back of creeks??? Thanks for the help.
