Surf Fishing Lures.

So my friend wants to know what are the best lures for surf fishing. Hes going out onto a kayak in pensacola beach and wants to take some lures, what should I tell him? BTW, lures for anytime of the year would be great.

I like using Storm Wild Eye Shiners. Walmart and tackle stores generally carry them.

I would definetly have a " Gotcha" and a pompano rig in my bag. Chuck

My jig of choice is a feathered bucktail jig baited with either a fresh shrimp or a pork rind. No kiddin on the pork rind. Try it! But for surf fishing you can't beat a live shrimp or sand fleas. During the mullet run a live Mullet will out fish any lure. My 2¢

Get yourself a nice surf cart, beach chair and a cold one.
