Guist creek has cleared up a bunch the last couple days at this point I would call it heavy stained, but clearing up fast. Water level has dropped a couple foot since Sunday, getting close to normal pool. water temperature has warmed up to 55 degrees as of this afternoon.
USA BASSIN tournament check in will be held at Shelby East middle School with, i'll be there at 5:15 with start time of 7:30.

Guist creek tournament is still on for Sunday. The lake is still heavily stained, but water temperature has increased to 62 -67. Water level is about 10 inches above summer pool. There have been several reports of some nice fish being caught. Hope to see you Sunday morning. Tournament check-in will be held at Shelby East middle School , I’ll be there at 5:00 with start time of 7:00.

There was 16 boats that fish and 12 had fish, the winning weight was 8.97 and big fish 4.04. Guist is still heavily stained on the main lake but the creeks are clearing up. Problem is main lake water temperature is 3 to 7 degrees warmer then the upper end of the creeks. I will post lake report before the next tournament which is scheduled on May 24.
