The Green River through Mammoth Cave is nice. You can put in at Munfordville and take out at Houchens Ferry. You will need a free back country camping permit from the visitor center. Plenty of places to camp on shore or islands.

A couple buddies and i have been hashing around the idea of taking a two night paddling/camping/fishing trip. Would really like to keep in in ky. But not real sure of wheres the best place to do this. I know elk horn has some great paddling and fishing opportunities but is there any where along the way to pull over and camp out on the bank "Legally". any advice would be great guys?
Appreciate it!
