Stuck a few

Well hit a pond that was half ice and half clear yesterday evening after work. Caught 8 total with most being 12 to 13 inches but did have one that was about 2lb or so. It was good to drag my little jig around and feel that tap and thump.
These were my first Bass this year so far I'm sorry to say.....

Cool. At least your on the board with some fish. I went to Stoner and blanked yesterday. But it was nice to be on the water.

Way to go my brother. I got out last Fri.drove all the way out to smyrna's to get bait and fished from the shore at the beds(do to my boat being down at Braces for the last 2 months...never again) and didn't get a sniff. Noticed a couple boats in the duck pond that didn't stay long so I figured it was just one of them days. It was a nice day so all was not lost. All I've got to say is I"LL BE BACK LOL. Nice report.

Good deal Mark.....That's better than I have done. I have spent about 16 hours on the water this Winter/year and didn't even get a bite!! I'm not gonna wet a line again until I fish Lake Kissimmee in early March and I plan on sticking a few pigs!!!
