Rules
It is the responsibility of every contestant to read and understand these rules before start of tournament.
No one under the age of 18 unless accompanied by an adult over 18.
U.S. Coastguard approved life jacket must be worn while engine is above idle speed.
You must be equipped with a working aerated live well.
Artificial lures only. No Trolling. No live bait and no more than one rod at a time, per person shall be used.
You must stay at least 50 yds from an anchored competitor.
Only largemouth, smallmouth and KY bass will be allowed.
15 inch size limit. 5 fish total. 1 slot fish per boat will be allowed. Any team attempting to weigh a short fish will be disqualified. You will be allowed 1 courtesy check.
If your chip is not in the bucket by designated quitting time, you will be disqualified. NO EXCEPTIONS!
1 lb penalty for each dead fish. Dead fish will not be weighed for big fish.
In case of a tie, the team with more fish will be considered the winner. If teams have the same number of fish, then the team with the biggest fish will be the tie breaker.
All fish will be released after they are weighed.
Any complaints or questions must be brought to the director’s attention before the scales close.
The director has the right to refuse any one from fishing this tournament.
Alternates will be allowed . The alternates may fish as many tournaments as needed. Alternate will not be allowed to fish the classic.
All boaters must obey state boat laws.
No alcohol in boats or weigh in area.
Every participant is subject to a polygraph.

Qualifying
There will be 10 qualifying tournaments. $60 entry per tournament. $10 for big bass is included. $10 per boat will go into the classic fund.
Payout will be 1 place for every 10 boats.
Points will be given to all competitors. Points will start at 100 for 1st . 99 points for 2nd, 98 for 3rd and so on…
If you do not weigh a fish you will be given 50 pts.
You must acquire 400 points to qualify for the classic.
At the end of the season, the team that has acquired the most points will be crowned anglers of the year. They will receive a free entry into the classic and be awarded boat # 1.
There will be a $100 entry fee into the classic. Classic will pay 1 place for every 7 boats.
