I ended up with 14"-15" here after it was all over. I have icebergs from the plow truck on either side of my driveway now and if I hit one I bet it would cause a lot of damage to my suv. These dang things are hard and heavy and I don't see them melting anytime soon.
i have been getting my mail and ups has been running along with fedex at my shop. We had a day or two of no activity but it wasn't to bad here in Lexington.
The road crews had a tough time keeping up with the snow and ice but it wasn't to bad. I went to work each day of the Winter storm and my Suv is just front wheel drive.

Idk what Ky would do but I know what I would do. I'd go back where I came from faster than a fart would disappear in a tornado.

I've never experienced that, but you speak with authority,
and make it sound really fast.

    Preparedness

Not sticking up for the transportation department but up north they're prepared for it while the southern states, not so much. Even here in Ohio, I have to laugh at the local response to winter storms. We have plenty of snowplows here in Columbus, 85 at last count, but they do a piss poor job in the area of response. Back home in Minnesota, it's like a well oiled machine.
