If your not familiar with it the pond hoppers is a small boat trail. Boats must be 15ft or less and no more than 15hp. Standard tournament rules but only 4 fish limits. Its a club atmosphere everyone is friendly and have known each other a long time. The tournaments are only 6hrs except for the classic and with the low cost its a great place to fish with a spouse, child, or someone who isnt experienced in tournaments. The organization has been going for over 10 years. There are 3 divisions and I help run the NE division. We expect to have 5-10 boats in the division tournaments and around 30 in the classic that will be help on Guist Creek lake September 17th and 18th. The tournaments are only $30 each with the classic being $60. There is also a membership of $30 per person. The money goes towards the classic where there will be prizes drawn out, a free dinner and awards for big fish, biggest stringer and division champs. Any questions feel free to call me (Michael) at 859-595-4923. We also have a facebook page for our division.

The schedule

Big Bass Showdown
Grayson-Bruin Ramp-March 14- 8am-2pm
The last several years this has been the tournament that produced the big fish for the division. 15in size limit, 12in spots, By mid March the lake has always been clear of ice but it will of course be postponed if it isnt somehow thawed out

Greenbriar Gamble
Yatesville-Greenbriar Ramp-Apr 4- 8am-2pm
Some big stringers have been caught on Yatesville out of this ramp in past years. It could be really tough depending on the weather but there could be some huge stringers. 15in size limit, 12in spots

Fox Valley Beatdown
Fox Valley Lake- 7am-1pm Apr 26th
The Smallest lake we fish but the easiest to limit out. Last year everybody had limits and that was mid summer. We can keep smaller fish to weigh so 10in size limit makes it fun but there are some bigger fish.

Paintsville Clash
Paintsville Lake May 24, 7am-1pm
First year we fished this lake but should be interesting. Theres a slot limit so fish can measure 10-12 or over 15. Smallmouth must be 18in on this lake.

River Rumble
Ohio River Greenup ramp 7am-1pm June 28
Our biggest body of water we fish. Fishing should still be decent late june you can either run up Little Sandy river or go on the main river. If the river water level is unsafe we will move to Greenbo the same day. 12in size limit

Greenbo Finale
Greenbo Lake 6am-12pm July 11th
If you like clear water you will like this one. You read the date on a dime at 10ft on a sunny day. Should be a tougher tournament which will make it interesting to finish the year if the pts race is close.
