I drove over to Holmes Bend this afternoon to see what the water looked like. It was white as in ICEd over white. I could barely see some open water about 3-400 yards downstream from the marina. From the marina upstream it was iced over. I have no idea what color the water is under the ice but based on the conditions of the last 10-12 days I would guess cold and muddy.
