Murray State University just had a two day tourney with 30 boats, and only 2 fish were weighed in. Reported that they found schools of fish, but couldn't make them bite anything.

Heading to Paris next week, was just wondering if anyone had any tips or reports for what the bass are doing?! Thanks!

That is a really slow bite. That *****.
wow! Hopefully the water will warm a little! Any clues on those schools? on the ledges or lead in banks? anyone know what the water temp is around paris?
I read that last week water temp was 39 but not sure which end that was on. They also said average for this time of year is 48 and that most reports had people not catching much
Surface and bottom temperature on the river channel was 39 this morning.....gonna get cold again with snow and then more cold tomorrow thru late this week. Most of the creeks are still frozen over. Supposed to start warming early next week...hope so.
So, do you think it is worth coming down next week..... I'm supposed to be there Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun next week (12, 13, 14, 15).
I was there crazy early last year, and managed to catch fish. I'm just wondering if next week it will be enough of a warming trend to get stuff started.
I suspect water temps will not move much, but if we had 3-4 days of solid , decent weather........is that enough to get the ball started.
I really don't want to cancel, because I cannot get down again in March.
I was thinking Leadin banks where you have a shallow cut CLOSE to the main, where those areas might be catching sun, and "might" warm up a few degrees might be the ticket..........slow cranks and jigs..

You might want to call about next Wednesday...I will be back on the water all next week unless this winter weather continues.
