Looking For Skipjack!

Anyone know where I can get some frozen skipjack for catfish bait? I am looking for about 400....

You can buy them on ebay. If you have a boat I can lead you in a good spot. In the Louisville area.

If you are willing to travel I hear there is a steam plant below Cordell Hull Reservoir in Tennessee that you catch a bunch. Might be able to get some at the power plant in Louisville.

I run limb lines in a river all spring and then do some catfishing in the summer..... Takes a lot of bait to run limb lines

All good, just seemed like alot to vacum pack. Not sure what area you are fishing but where I fish (Mcalpine) They start showing up below the dams in late March and can get thick in April and May. That being said both Shad and skips have been very scarce the last couple years due to I beleive the explosion of asian carp. As mentioned also you can find them at warm water discharges at several power plants along the river...Also hit or miss though. Good luck Chuck
