Heading to Pee Dee river system next month for BASS Nation regional. Pretty stoked making the team but looking at the Navionics map going to be tricky to navigate. Anyone ever fish the area would greatly appreciate you input.

The launch site is in Georgetown SC. You be launching in saltwater. You are about 2 miles from the freshwater dividing line. Make sure you rinse your trailer and boat after you leave the salt water, its a common practice to do so. There are self serve spray offs all over the place.
The general area around G'Town is loaded with redfish. There are a lot of small creeks running off the main river. JUST MAKE SURE TO KNOW THE TIDES! You do not want to get stuck. Fishing is always better on falling tides.
Bass fishing can be good and bad depending on the tide. Pop R's work well, especially if its cloudy, you can throw it all day. Trick worms and senkos can be good. Scuppernong works is a great color worm in the tannic water color that's in the coastal rivers. Look for any type of vegetation. Look for current breaks.
I did not fish the Pee Dee much. I lived further south before moving back to Kentucky I fished the Cooper River and Santee Cooper Lakes a lot.
Good Luck, hope this helps.

Thanks, Charlie that will help a lot.

Got curious and looked up the tides. Looks possible to have a 3 to 4 foot change in tides.

Bucksport is a popular tournament landing. The tides do not fluctuate as much there.
