Read on another site that theres MAJOR floaters, so be careful. Also said that with water levels being so high around the area that the USCOE could take over the outflow of KY dam and shut it off.

Fishing was TOUGH.........really TOUGH, but we had fun.

Friday, it rained all day. We caught 8 fish with just under 10lbs. All fish were on jigs.

Saturday, we refished a bunch of spots we fished Friday, and a few other spots. Most on Jigs, and a few on Tubes and shakey heads.

Sunday, we had to leave early so we only caught 6.......

The crankbait bite for us started to turn on Sunday. I'm really looking forward to another trip in a couple weeks.

finally....the DRUM bite is rocking.........we had 50lbs of drum yesterday...

    Geo

    Geo,

Thanks for the update on your trip. I made it down here, but am sure struggling to find any fish. This is by far the nicest weather I have ever had in the spring. Hit 78 degrees today. Going to be 65 tomorrow. The main lake is loaded with debris!

Fished south today. Most of of it in Blood River. Yesterday went north.

Would appreciate a PM with any specifics you (or anyone else that can help a guy from Northern Wisconsin out) care to share.

    Thanks,

    Scott....

I did get you PM, Thanks!! It was really nice of you to offer your advice and help us out.

No WiFi at the place we are staying, so didn't get it until this morning. Used your advice and fished in Sugar most of the day. Did a lot better.

    Thanks again,

    Scott....
