I'm sure this has probably been asked before but I really enjoy fishing the smaller 20 to 3 or 400 acre lakes especially the electric only lakes. There's a peacefulness to them that you just don't get on the big popular lakes! I was wondering if there is a list of lakes in ky with public access or if anybody knows of any that they care to share a little info on.
Greenbo lake state park
Cedar Creek lake
If you want peace and quiet on a lake don't go to cedar creek. It's NOT electric only. And there are boats going wide open all the time. Check out greenbriar reservoir in mt sterling. It's a 216 acre lake and electric only. And if you get lucky one of those Hugh spoon bills will jump in your boat. And not to many ppl even know about it.
They're slowly caving to pressure and allowing the big motors on these small lakes. I think it's a shame.
Boltz lake is really nice for a small lake, believe its still 9.9 hp max
