    first post

This is as good a place as any to make my first post. I learned to fly fish from my father, grand father, and great grand father. The video is great information for casters. A very good basic lesson. I was taught to roll a paper up and put it in my arm pit this was to help minimize shoulder movement and was the style they used. Every thing else the same. We fished in bayous for Bass and pan fish and often under brush and over hangs. then shocking the line as shown can be an advantage to lower it and enable a low rolling cast under over hang. When doing this you want to angle the rod tip away from your body slightly so the low rolling lure doesn't snatch your cap off or pierce your ear.
