Pre spawn flathead bite is on!!!!

Just a few new pics of Ohio river flatheads. Hopefully more size my next trip tonight!!!

We caught some on Tuesday....biggest was 18lbs. Got them on skipjack. We were fishing from a boat and sitting on a channel bank. Got most bites sitting in about 18 feet of water vs 30 feet of water, one cast from the bank.

How deep and what type of structure did you get it on??

We were fishing 10 to 20 feet of water. And basically just a mud bank with a few small ledges. All on cut skipjack too. I'm going to try again Friday hopefully the water temp stays where it's at which is 68 where I fish.

nice catch. you see the guy out there in the 20 ft Alumacraft tossing 2lb perch out there? that's not me!
