Fished the river some Sat evening at burksville and Sunday from the dam. We didn't catch many and most folks I spoke too were not catching many either day. Sunny day didn't help. We threw crank baits and spinners of many colors.

You need to get a fly rod. I was down Friday and caught around 15-20. All the guides are catching huge browns and slot rainbows. A cloudy day does help fishing Cumberland river.
