Barkley on the weekends??

What can I expect as far as number of boats putting on Barkley to fish and to joy ride starting Saturday mornings thru Sunday? I usually just beat the banks, fishing coves and such...but never ventured there on the weekends...Anyone that can help me here, its appreciated....

I spend quite a few days down there. I usually stop fishing KY and Barkley First of June and start back up around Middle of September. I suspect you can find places where the pleasure boaters and jet skis will leave you alone, but those spots are few and far between.

Night fishing would definitely be an option.

Also, I will let you know in a few weeks......I'm going down with my wife for a weekend in a couple of weeks, and I suspect I will have a bunch of folks to deal with.

It's fairly crowded anytime after Memorial Day. However, I live close to and fish Taylorsville a lot. That place is insane. Barkley traffic in comparison is like driving to work on Christmas Day.
