Your best luck is emailing the company if it's a faulty bait.

This is what I have done when some lures cracked or something without very much use. If it's an old bait that has been fished a lot, that's a different story, but if it's fairly new, I would email the company. I had a KVD 1.5 bill crack and the internal weight broke lose inside on the first trip using it. I emailed them and they told me to send it in. I got a couple baits back in return and a hat. They definitely will make it right, if it's strike king

You might try devcon 2 ton epoxy thinned with a few drops of acetone. Keep the bait turning till it dries. This is the coating a lot of custom lure makers use after painting. Sometimes it will give the lure an extra movement that can be killer. Use a good brush though, so you don't get bristles in your coating. Devcon doesn't yellow like other epoxies. I've found it at Ace hardware in New Albany In. You can order from amazon also. Good luck

First find where the leak is by squeezing the lure. Water will come out wherever the leak is. Now turn the lure over and take a drill and drill a hole as small as possible in the belly somewhere. Get the water out and let it dry. When totally dry, plug the hole. I use UV glue for this purpose. Now you address the leak issue. I use UV glue to seal any holes or cracks. If you want, re paint. Now clear coat again and that should give you a lure almost as good as new. I'm sure there are other glues you can use to fill holes and cracks, I just gave you what I use.

Loctite Plastic epoxy works great too. You can buy it at Walmart and comes in a squeeze tube to get the perfect amount.
