With all due respect I find the comparison of someone killing another person while recklessly driving illegally over the limit to a fish dying after a sportsman legally catches it but instead of keeping chooses to release with the hopes and intentions that it would live just ridiculous. Sounds like some PETA talk and reasoning right there.
Wrong comparison. I was discussing intent / intentions. Regardless of the purity of one's intention, we're each responsible for our actions. I shoulda' left it alone.

I understood that, I just think comparing the "intent" of a drunk driver who kills an innocent person to that of a fisherman who releases a fish that dies is a very poor analogy.

I think when we start comparing drunk drivers killing people and comparing it to a dead fish we have reached the proverbial " Jump the Shark" moment on this subject.
