LOL
That's my thing! When it's hot outside I do my outdoor work early in the morning, take a shower and go aimlessly wondering around Gander Mountain. We don't have a Cabelas or a Bass Pro shop but if we did I'd go there too.
I need some more 9 mm ammo to replace what I've shot at the rifle range the last month. And I can always use some more fishing gear or baits.
We have a new Academy Sporting Goods Store here in town and they also sell ammo and guns along with fishing gear.
The good thing about these new stores is that they are all air conditioned and cool inside.

If it's not too expensive I might enroll. I'll probably make twice that back in expensive lures any other gear strewn about the yard that get stuck to my tennis shoes. LOL
the class is free, but keep in mind i am a live bait fisherman.....about the best you can do is maybe a rusty circle hook in the big toe
Go fish a smaller lake. I'll be getting up in 5 hours to go to guist creek. Gotta beat the heat.

Ended up kayaking on Beaver. Caught four smallish ones. Man it was hot.
Guist was slow but we managed to pull out 7 fish. Only one was under 12". Lake was about 5 feet up with around 6 inches of viability. It was hotter than you know what and the lake was fairly crowded.
